I have a Ford Focus Zetec 2009 automatic. The odometer display goes off and comes on occasionally. Then when I drive, the speedometer drops (but the speed doesn't reduce), all warning lights go off, the speedometer returns to actual speed, the alarm comes and the skidding sign remains. 

The electrical diagnostic showed these codes. Can someone help?

U0140 #Lost communication with onboard control module: Constant

U0001 #High speed CAN bus: Constant

U0101 #Lost communication with TCM: Constant 

P1260 #Intrusion detected, vehicle immobilized: discontinuous

PO500 #Sensor for the advance of travel A: discontinuous

    Very common fault with the instrument cluster caused by dry solder joints.

    Many companies offering a repair service on the IC which costs around £80.

    My battery seems to be fine but sometimes (happen twice now) it refuses to start then after trying for a while, it starts. Please, can @rd457 repair? Thank you
