Featured Replies

noticed the other day that the rad fan was coming on when cold and remained on, thought it was the relay so replaced it with a new one, and its still the same.   but noticed when i turn the air con off it works as it should, any ideas what the problem could be. thanks

That is NOT a fault. The fan will always run when the A/C is on, it needs to keep the condenser cold.

As @unofix said, it sounds like normal behaviour.

The refrigerant needs cooling in order to condense and allow the heat pump cycle to be maintained. It wouldn't surprise me if the fan runs continuously in order to maximise efficiency of this process, regardless of whether or not the airflow from forward motion of the vehicle might be sufficient alone.
