Low fuel warning light not working

2011 ford fiesta titanium 

low fuel warning light isn't coming on , it usually alerts me with 52 miles to go but i noticed the last 2 times I've hit 52 it hasn't 

I've left it and it's gone down to 30 miles but still nothing

The low fuel light comes on when I turn the ignition on and the fuel gauge seems to be working properly

 

Any ideas?

    I see that you have submitted this forum around a year ago, I have the same issue with my 2010 ford fiesta.

    Did you happen to find what the issue was?
