hi guys, i bought a new rear bumper (just the plastic bit) which is honeycomb instead of normal for my mk7.5 ecoboost but it doesn’t fit, and from what i’ve seen my bumper needs some kind of extension part put on in order to make it fit? if so does anyone know what they are called, please see attached images for examples, thanks

Spats. You may find some separately on EBay though they're often sold complete with the bumper.

They aren't what you need.  You need the OEM corner spats, which are circled in the picture of the red bumper.

If your bumper hasn't got the slots in for them, like the white bumper hasn't, it's probably more effort that it's worth.  This is the part you're on about. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134719515347

Much easier to just get a complete bumper with the diffuser you want.

Perhaps worth mentioning there have been literally dozens of threads on here on the topic of Mk 7/7.5 rear bumpers/diffusers which would be worth a read before deciding what to do.
