I have a 998cc 2019 Ecoboost and I am having trouble getting into 1st gear.  All other gear changes are OK once I'm driving. Any suggestions to the problem?  Thanks

    Thanks.  It's manual and yes it does go into 1st gear fairly easily when the engine is off. There is a slight resistance when it goes back to neutral

    You may have a problem that the clutch is not fully disengaging (clutch drag). It might be a problem with the master cylinder or with the slave cylinder. Is the hydraulic fluid level OK ?

    @TomsFocus might have some ideas of what to try.
