Mk3 2014 diesel brake bulbs

My car just failed the mot as the brake and tail light were working in opposite way as in brake filament on for tail light so i thought just put them in the right way. These are the standard type dual filament bulbs, the standard bulb does not go in the other way so then i bought some other bulbs which have a different offset pins 21/4W BAZ15d and they dont fit the slots but i did manage to force them in and the lights work correctly now. So what is the correct bulb for this car please

    Hi thanks for that when I cross checked my car with ebay it says that is not the correct bulb ?

    eBay must be correct, it is the font of all knowledge !! 👍

    Perhaps @TomsFocus's is just a little dim when it comes to bulbs 🤣🤣

     

     

    Sorry Tom, but I do sometimes wonder as why people think eBay, Amazon and the like are always infallible 🙁

    The eBay compatibility check isn't particularly effective.  I could be wrong though and am happy to double check.

    If it's late 2014 it could be BAY15D instead.  Those are 21/5w but still use offset pins.  They are also known as '380' if buying from Halfords or similar.
