Can anyone recommend the correct OEM recommended spark plugs for this engine please?

1.8L Duratec-HE PFI FFV(125PS) MI4

    This is what I can find on the parts site but not sure what type of plugs these are?

    Or if there is a non-OEM Equivalent by Bosch or Denso or similar.

    There are a few good makes that you can use, but cost wise they are all about the same as genuine Ford plugs.

    I may have managed to bag a set of 4 genuine for £20. 🤞

    But saying that can get a set of 4 of the above 0 242 229 785 for half the price. 

    Is there any difference between

    0 242 229 786 and the above?

     

    Also where do you search for the above information? That straight from Bosch or different site?

    Just use Google and search using the Ford part 5M5G-12405-AA

    Sites like: Autodoc UK , or Spark Plugs UK, GSF Car Parts, Euro Car Parts. Will cross reference the Ford number to the Bosch number 0 242 229 785

    What the difference is with 0 242 229 786, I don't know. It could just be the pre-set gap size but that's just a guess.
