Miltek Cat-Back On My Mk7 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hey guys. :)

Just thought id update you guys on my Mk7 Zetec S Fiesta

Had a Miltek Cat-Back exhaust fitted few days ago, love the sounds, burbles on idle, quite cruising even up to 80+ and makes a gorgeous deep growl(from the inside) and barks(from the outside) on full chat.

Much better as the fiesta never had any bark to it really. Power gains, cant say ive noticed anything major, apart from in second with tick over revs booting it resulted in nothing until about 2k it picks up straight away now, I ws trying to show someone how little power it has until a few 'k rpm and it proved me wrong.

any reason you didnt go all out and have the manifold and sports cat/ de-cat ?

Price, insurance and warranty :) Cars only six months old.

Although When I renew in feb I might end up with the manifold and sports cat as well. Thats where the power Gains are.

Jay

so the cat back doesn't void the warranty on the whole exhaust system ?

Video from in car of standard exhaust and new one.

. I Think the fiesta looks far better with an exhaust you can actually see!

Quite old topic but maybe somebody will answer...

Is this kit worth buying because I was actually thinking about getting one...

Any thoughts?

If you can afford it and the increased insurance then sure it is, add a new air box and remap and you'll be around the 140ps mark give or take a few (same as mountune)That's ~17% gain, with reported crisper throttle response and better mid range pull, Not sure where you could get your hands on it that's local for you though.

I will look into in. First I have to talk with the insurance company...

Thanks mate!

Looks good and suits the body kit nicely.

Where in Ireland were you when you took those photos? (I'm a nosey ex-pat Paddy!) :D

Cheers

Rog
