Rattling noise when revving down.

The link doesn't work I'm afraid.

It's just called a chain or timing chain btw.  Not sure where the term 'chain belt' keeps coming from on here.

That doesn't right tbh.  Might just be a rattly wastegate but definitely needs further investigation.

Looking at other videos and post sounds like a waste gate but a lot of people are saying it’s just one of the many characteristic's of the 1.0L 3cylinder ecoboosts and that if the car drives fine it’s fine

My focus is still doing this but having no other problems with my Turbo. Did you ever find out what was going on?

My 2019 focus is making the exact same  sound. I’m paranoid there is something wrong but others say it’s normal! Any advice please?

I’ve taken it to a few different places and they all said it’s fine. I’ve driven about 60 miles eveyday and I have never noticed any drop in performance or any issues
