Clutch

Featured Replies

Hi All need any ideas my Daughter has a fiesta 2005 and she has said that when she was driving the car the revs were racing and no power. I've driven the car myself and you can pull off in any gear without the car stalling there's a little smell coming into the car like its the clutch burning. But my daughter said the clutch was done 2 years ago also the clutch pedal returns everything I depress it. Also can't see any clutch fluid leaking any ideas would be appreciated thanks before i remove the gearbox kind regards Paul

sound like its burning out

Definitely worn clutch..does your daughter ride the clutch as that's not long for a clutch to last

Probably a cheap clutch fitted.  When you're paying all that labour for a job like this, it doesn't make sense to skimp on the quality of the part.
