Ford Fiesta 1.5 2016 loss of power

Featured Replies

Hi guys, my car goes into limp mode after 10 minutes of driving, spanner and engine light comes up, the fault code given was P1102 which is generic enough, I changed the MAF and MAP sensor which resulted in nothing, a few other things I havnt done yet that some people said has fixed or help issue is, changing time belt (which it’s over due), checking for boost leaks or wiring from ecu, can anyone point me in the right direction, sending it to a garage next week so would like to have the right idea of what’s up so I don’t get screwed money wise, cheers Dylan

You need to be using FORScan to get the Ford specific codes.

Have a smoke fill test done on the boost pipes & intercooler.  If there are any boost leaks, the smoke should make them visible.
