Hey all

 

ford focus 2.0 tdci 2015

The code apparently has something to do with the Diesel Intake Air Flow Position Sensor , just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on this , dont know if its causing an issue , buit my 2 rear abs sensors have failed so i plugged in my reader and found this code was also there , hoping its an easy fix ?

Does anyone know where this enssor is even located ?

    I think that's an old Code. Try clearing it and see if it comes back.

    If it does then if you get set up with FORScan you may be able to Live Monitor the Valve. It may not be moving at all or maybe it needs to go through a Learning procedure for the PCM to set the fully open and fully closed points.

    Hi. I have cleared it a few times and it keepa coming back , if it needsnforscan , i guess itll have to go in the garage.

    wiring problem to the MAP sensor  im having sim issues with my focus i have given the car to 2 so called auto electricians and both told me wiring was ok, i did some self teaching and found out both where wrong i have a broken earth wire going to the throttle valve that i cant find. id start at the map and maf sensor to confirm continuity of all wires now the map sensor is intermittently failing sending the car into limp mode apparently these wires can break around where the harnes is held to the gearbox you said you had a code reader ? can it read live data if not forscan is free for 2 months and you can pick up a cable for around €30
