Help find ''car moving'' signal wire

Featured Replies

Hello folks, I am working on an electric handbrake project to fit in my fiesta 2013. For safety reason, I want to know if there is a wire that gives a positive signal when the car starts moving.

I want to use it to prevent using the parking brake button accidently when the car is moving.

Thanks in advance.

The park brake still operates when the vehicle is moving

The park brake is not factory made, I am DIYing it, i juste need to get a wire from the vehicle ( if available) to disable the parking brake when moving

I was going to suggest that disabling the park brake whilst moving would be an MOT failure here, but noticed you weren't in the UK, so, full your boots LOL
