Insurance

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm having my 2015 custom remapped from 100 bhp to 180 bhp. I'm not after the horse power necessary I'm more interested in the torque increase.

Anyone else had this done and is it as good as I've heard?

Anyway my question is is does it make a significant difference to your insurance cost?

Thanks in advance

Carl

Depends who your insurer is.  Many won't cover an 80% power increase.

Yes would be the answer.

You'll have to ask your own insurer about the cost increase.  They will all be different.  There's little point comparing premiums to other peoples.  Many insurers now have an online system where you can get a personalised quote for making a specific change to your policy.  Some won't cover such a large power increase at all.

Hi.

If you need any help with insurance then please feel free to drop me a line. That's what I'm hear for.

Regards,

Dan.
