I hope someone can guide me here.

Ive been working on this car for a few weeks now and since I bought it its always had the error P0238 for Turbocharger boost sensor “A” circuit high. I do know my way around an engine so it stumped me when I couldn’t fine the sensor anywhere. I’ve check many times but still can’t find it and I’ve looked online everywhere and can’t find any information.

if anyone’s had similar issues and knows a solution or could tell me where to find my sensor that would be great.

Thank you!

I don't think it'll have one, not all of the 1.4 TDCI's did.

If there is one fitted, it's bolted to the back left corner of the airbox with a thin pipe across to it from the boost piping.

Though it is interesting that you've got a fault code for it if not fitted.

Sounds like a pretty noticeable part so I must not have one. I don’t know if I’m maybe able to change some label codes or something like that to tell the computer it doesn’t have one? Any ideas ?

I think it's more likely that an unused plug or wiring has become damaged somehow.  I can't think of any other reason why the ECU would suddenly think there's a MAP sensor fitted after 15 years.  I'd check around behind the airbox for any loose plugs.

It's not that noticeable tbf, though I still think you would have seen it if fitted if you've got some previous experience.
