Ac clutch engages automatically

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I gave a fiesta 2004 Mk5 I guess and my AC was working totally fine yesterday.

Today I changed the timing belt and the water pump. And after I started the engine. The AC engages itself if I put it in first gear and move. In engages and automatically disengages after 2-3 seconds.

The knob fan is on 0.

The AC button isn't light up

Even if it is on 1 (the fan settings, and the AC button is disabled) the system won't deliver cold air.

The problem is happening only if I am moving. If I leave the car in neutral, and rev the engine the AC clutch won't engage unless I activate the AC from the climate control system.

I can't find any possibilities...can you give me a track to go on please?

Cheers!
