I picked up this car today from local dealer.   All good on limited use, but the handbook that comes with the car is lamentably short on information.

For example, I am stumped as to tyre pressures- they are displayed inside the passenger door but has different pressures depending on  Vs or V>   can anyone shed light to help me please?  Possibly it relies on a message from the display at time pressures are low, but would be nice to know that.   On a more general note, is there an online specification that goes into more detail than the rather lightweight information that comes with the handbook?    Usually you get a few pointers about what is inside the bonnet and how to check your oil level etc.    Thanks!

    The full manual can be found online here, no need to set up an account - https://www.ford.co.uk/support/owner-manuals

    If you put the VIN in, that'll give you the exact manual.  Otherwise just try to pick the one nearest the registration date, hoping that isn't too far from build date.

    Tyres are listed as 'Tires' which is necessary for the search function.

    I'm not sure what the V is referring to, but if you can post a picture I'm sure we can work it out.

    It's actually V< and V> meaning velocity under and over the stated speed (100 mph on my car) - simply means if you will.be cruising at/above the higher speed e.g. on German Autobahn you should set your pressures to the higher figure shown. Lower figure for here in the UK of course!
