Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCI catalityc converter full after 4000k

Featured Replies

Hi,

The Computer alarms that the particle filter count was too high, so I replaced the catalytic converter with a not original ford one.

This one was full after 10k or less,  so I replaced it again with one from a crashed ford fiesta from the scrapyard with 50k on the meter.

But after 4000km this one is already full, is there anything I should check ?

I have replaced the EGR valve  about 10k ago, timing belt, oil + filters was done 4k ago.

Should I start checking the Injectors, or is there anything else I can check ?

I've done a regen which  starts but after 10 minutes it aborts.  a rerun only let it run for 2 minutes or so

Erik
