I do wish that the lottery would tell you in the email they send out exactly what the amount is that you have won. Instead of teasing you by telling you you're a winner and log in to your account to see the amount! For those precious few moments, all sorts of dreams run through your head LOL Now, I'm away out soon to squander my winnings, thinking of treating the old girl to a new air freshener - any other suggestions? 🤣

Premium Bonds are exactly the same😑

Many years ago we used to have a pools consortium in my office. I still remember walking in one morning to great excitement and was told we'd won a first dividend. Apparently there were a lot of winners that week and it turned out that my share was just under £20, as I recall.😡

Yeah pack in with the lottery, find a very large screw on jar, make a slot in the lid, super glue the lid on, put the money in the jar you would have used on the lottery, when the jar is full get it opened up  and count up....you'll be very surprised just how much cash you've got saved up, better than winning a fiver or twenty quid any day....We've done it and totted up £3,000 between the two of us.

Air freshener duly bought, and I got a £1 change! It's been a good day... 😁

Oh, I do do it about once/month at £1.50 a go, so hardly cash draining on me... (and always a 'lucky dip - only eejits lock themselves into their 'lucky' numbers LOL)

I get emails to tell me I have won a prize but you need to log into your account to find out how much you have won.

Now, I just installed that on your mention here, my mum has 22 x bonds some dating back to the 60, all valid as we have written confirmation from NS just last year. Every number I entered gave an error message saying, 'not recognised', and the app has a very low review score of 2.5. Personally, I think it's pants!

Think you have to register your Holder's number AND NS&I number to use the app, don't know if you can check individual bonds with it.

There i no option on the app to 'register' details If this is a necessary pre requisite to use it, it should really be more informative. Like I said... pants! 😂

You have to register via the website and then you can use the app. 

The app is only a prizechecker, the clue's in the name 😉😀
