Hi 

If you fit a new door lock / actuator do you have to program it to the car or are they passive so Don't need any programing have fitted new one but not working old actuator just locked door on double push of the key fob and had to open it from the inside of the car only one lock affected

    They are passive and do not require any programming.

    You do need to get the exact same part number as the original, there are approx 11 different versions of the actuator and they are not interchangeable.
