It's to the correct specification. Is your antifreeze/coolant currently red or is it orange? Some advise not to mix colours.

It's red, what's werid is that I filled it on Wednesday to max and with in a week it's gone down to literally in the middle of min and max I feel like that's gone down very quick or is that me? Any advise as I'm worrying about this

Thank you

With the engine cold, just top it back up to the max line. If you are actually losing coolant somewhere it will be important to find out where (there are lots of possible causes).

Don't worry just yet, just recheck regularly to see if it goes down again.

If the level does drop again, let the forum know and someone can give further advice to trace the problem.

Excess coolant will be vented through the cap if it's over-filled.  On most cars the coolant finds it's own 'level' between min & max.  Personally I'd leave it in the middle and see if it drops to minimum.  If it does then you have a leak.  If it doesn't then that's just it's level preference.

You need to bear in mind that a given amount of pure water takes up the least space at 4 degrees C, above and below that it expands and the Rubber Hoses on your car are soft, so expand and contract to an extent also depending on the pressure in the system, so the level in the Header Tank can be different every time you check it, hence why there is a minimum and maximum.

My Ecoboost 1ltr the level sits at mid way no matter if I fill to the Max when cold.
