Mk4 focus 1.5 ecoblue No apim in forscan

Featured Replies

Just bought a 2019 focus vignale and tried to have a mess with settings in forscan and once connected no apim is showing in forscan is this due to a HUD unit where the apim sits

What lead are you using to connect to FORScan?

First little point, you need to update your user profile.

Second, if you are using the ELM327 lead to connect FORScan then it is not compatible with a 2019 vehicle.

Use the vLinker FS cable and the latest version of FORScan. You will need to delete your vehicles profile if you change to the vLinker FS cable.

Ive gotto ask for my own benefit why is it that the elm327 sees it in a 2019 fiesta but not a focus

Simple, the Focus has newer software/firmware/hardware

On a side not and probably not in the right place , whilst i was connected to car i noticed there was a few dtc showing and stop start dont kick in ive reset the battery module is this down to a weak battery

You shouldn't reset BMS unless you fit a new battery.

If it's complaining about voltage, fit a new battery
