Baffling Engine Misfire

Featured Replies

Hello all ! I’m scratching my head in anticipation that the more clued up members may be able to shed some light on an issue with my vehicle.

its a 2014 1.6 powershift estate petrol

it’s been a problem vehicle from day one with the clutch system failing after a couple of months this was a painful and expensive fix.  It’s been a long list of repairs since.. I have an ongoing misfire that can’t seem to be resolved by the rac or mechanics.  To date I’ve had a full service HT leads and plugs, ignition coil. Engine flush and another oil change as there was evidence of fuel in the oil.  It only misfires at low revs under load but it’s running rough.  No engine management light or fault codes have ever flagged up so it’s proven difficult to locate the issue and I don’t want to keep spending money changing every part hoping to resolve the issue.  There was mention of the vvt system having failed ?

any ideas to save me going down the rabbit hole anymore !
