Gear surround needs spraying or new one..how to get out?

Can someone let me know if they have taken the gear surround trim off their focus please and how it comes off....its off a 2013 focus and I'd like to re-spray it or replace with new.

    Mine is a 2005 model, but I'd be surprised if the fitting was vastly different. I just used my fingers at either side of of the surround and pulled upwards. It's only held in by plastic clips. I sprayed mine...

    got it off....pretty easy...trying to find a new one or good second hand one....what would you call it?....ive tried gear surround trim?...and gator trim?
