Focus Mk2 1.6 16v HWDA oil consumption possible pcv issue

Featured Replies

As the title says i am having an issue with my foci mk2 1.6 16v petrol, engine code HWDA. Car has nearly 200k km on the odo, pretty much faultless to day so i can't really complain. Few months back I've seen the oil level starting to drop, no leaks, no blue smoke on cold start,  it is burning oil really slow.  Running a quick searchon google led me to the pcv valve issue which is apparently a pretty common fault. Few also mentioned that if it is hard to remove the oil filler cap while the engine is running(negative pressure or sucktion in head cover)i might have a defective pcv valve. issue is i am struggling to find the pcv valve on this engine. if anyneo could post a picture or a guide to locate the valve it would really make my day    thanks  in advance.
