1.5 TDCI Focus 2015 fuel filter

Hi all (again)

I ordered a fuel filter for my focus, as above, from GFS as my local mech was going to change it for me.

He rang me when he had finished and told me he had to order another one but that was wrong also.

He then ordered a 3rd quoting the part number which was correct.

The mech ordered the second one from eurocarparts which was the same as I ordered from GSF and was a Mann filter No PU70100z.

All part factors had full info on the car including it being a Zetec S and Reg.

I do remember something about the filter being changed due to the clips on the bottom of the filter whereas the Mann filters did not have.

Can anyone throw any light on this please as I will keep the Mann if it is going to be ok.

    The form factor of Mann PU7010z/PU7011z diesel filter has changed over the years. The versions may look different but afaik they should fit. If you get version 3 as shown in the video, the side with the cavity should be pointing upwards. The cavity will fit into the lid of the fuel filter housing.
