Oil service notification.

Featured Replies

Got a weird situation the notification for oil change required keeps appearing when I start up. When I changed the oil I done the reset procedure with the start button on and holding the brake and accelerator and it said it was reset and was fine until now. I have done it again several times now and it keeps coming back has anyone got any idea? 2014 2.0 TDCI.

Going to try taking the battery lead off for a bit and see if it comes back still. its a weird one cos thier is no sensor for oil quality as far as I know it's just a milage check for when it was last done.

Still can't get rid of it very weird.

Can you try resetting it through Forscan instead?

I don't know if that's an option but I've done it on VW's using VCDS.

If it is in the Laptop version then it will be in the Phone version as well under Service Procedures.

I'm not sure either if FORScan has a procedure for doing it on that car either.

I will check but don't remember seeing it it's more so annoying than anything else 😂
