Ford Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0 2014 -vacum pump Question

Featured Replies

Hi hope someone can answer my query pls.

I have used a Sealey vac pump for about 10/12 yrs,

And wondering if it's ok to use on my( well my sons Fiesta titanium eco boost 1.0L)

I've been using it without issues on 4 different cars ,

But am hyper paranoid ref the ecoboost,

Especially after shelving out to replace the wet belt( s) and water pump recently

Thank you

Personally, I'd not use it as you won't get to see if there is any sludge/bits of timing belt lurking in the sump. I know you have recently changed the wetbelts but there are cases of the new belts starting to deteriorate not long after they have been fitted. Any opportunity to  check the oil for foreign debris should be used when possible.
