Before you get your leg pulled completely out of its socket😀 it might help to give an idea of what you're looking for, how much work you are prepared to do, how much you are prepared to spend etc.

You can't get much out of a normally aspirated car these days without a lot of work/cash. A Superchips or similar remap would get you a few (under 10) bhp and Nm of torque for £250 or so.

For a 1.4 petrol, not likely. Even a SuperChips remap will probably add up to less than 10% more power.
