Fiesta won't start-battery and starter replaced.

Featured Replies

Yo I have a 2014 ford fiesta titanium that is having problems starting. At first I thought it was the battery so I replaced it with the same battery that was in it prior. Still wouldn't start. I then replaced the ignition relays and fuses. still wouldn't start. I took it to a shop and had the starter replaced(old one was dead) as well as the switch on the brake pedal. It still is having trouble starting consistently and I do not know why. I've read something about the car not recognizing it's in park which won't allow it to start but I honestly have no clue. Any help would be appreciated.

Try starting it in neutral.

I too am having the same problem.   2015 sedan.  Checked fuses, relay's, replaced the starter and still no crank.

Won't shift out of park, manually released the shifter to neutral and still no crank.  Battery has been replaced and I'm at a loss.   I don't know what else, If it were interlock the key wouldn't turn to start so that's out.

Again, i'm at wit's end. anyone that can give me a new Idea?  Thanks in advance for your time and trouble....
