That video sounds as if the battery is almost dead flat!

Get it charged right up & try again.

Thanks for the reply Alan, instead of me purchasing a charger, how much do you think it roughly cost for me to pay a garage to do this for me?

Also it’s a brand new battery, had it put in last week so will it still need charging up?

No idea I'm afraid, but it will probably be cheaper to but your own charger.

Until you get it charged up, nobody can tell. Don't forget, a battery only stores electric, it doesn't produce it! It could be that your car isn't charging properly, or there is a current drain when everything should be off.

Okay thanks for the reply mate, will buy a new charger asap and see how it goes then. If the problem is still there then that means there is a drain, right? Or a possible problem with the alternator? The starter motor is fine because it does start up eventually?

FAULT FOUND: Dodgy/Loose Earth

I took my Focus to the mechanics who fitted my battery, the hooked the battery up to a multi metre like suggested and figured out there was a dodgy earth, within seconds he re-adjusted and tightened the earth up and so far my car is running perfect🤞🏼 the multi metre shown it was steadily gaining power to the battery when the engine was on. So let’s hope this is the last problem I have for a while🤞🏼

BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR ALL THE REPLIES!!
