Fiesta MK7 Esp off connector

Featured Replies

Hello Everybody. I own a Ford fiesta mk7 pre facelift from 2012. Mine came without an ESP off switch. I purchased one from Ebay to fit to my Car atfermarket. Its an Ford Original part. I have the odd feeling, that it is actually for the Facelift version of the MK7, because after hooking it up and installing it correctly, nothing happens. Can anybody provide me with a picture from The back of an Original MK7 ESP off switch? I think the Facelift version uses different pins than the old version. Any Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. I hope you can help me somehow!

Kind regards,

Karl From Germany!

Hey thanks for the reply… No i haven‘t enabled it yet. Everywhere i looked, Everbody said, it was plug&play. Apearently isn‘t 😅 Where can i Enable it in FORScan?

I've not looked for the setting in FORScan for your model, but I would check out the BCM and the PCM

FORScan (for use with Windows Laptop) : https://forscan.org/download.html

It's what many Ford owners use including some Ford technicians.

I‘ll take a look… Do you think, that the non standard button could cause problems like those?

I would think it is probably the same switch, so all that needs to be done is to tell the car that it now has one fitted.

Hey mate. I‘ve spent the last hour looking through every signle Firscan menu and entry. I found nothing. It really seems to be plug&play as i thought. I figure if i can find a picture if the connector from the original button, i can fugure out the pins, the button connects to.
