Missing Glove box light 22 Fiesta MK8.5 Viglane

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a definitive method of obtaining the missing Glove Box light and fitting it, there are several Videos online but none seem to refer to my model.

Car Enhancements have a strip light that looks like it might work i.e their fuse photos look to be in the correct lower Passenger footwell position . But this results in an always on with the ignition situation. The glovebox has a hole for a light/switch combo unit.

Is this what you're looking for?

StephenFord Yes it could be, but I guess I need to drop the Lamp housing Down to get a better idea.  I can't tell if there is any wiring until I do this.

That is definitely the correct switch, but if its like my 2022 Vignale, there's no wiring. You have to add it, and get a plug from somewhere/ebay

Cheers Gary, I guess you went to the footwell fuses, the connector should not be a problem, but locating the correct fuse to tap might be  given the change to the 8.5 setup?

I have got some strip light might use that instead of the lamp, but still use the switch.

No, I went up the A pillar to the interior light feed if IIRC
