Altering BMS charge rate using FORSCAN

Featured Replies

Focus ST. Battery is never fully charged as BMS does not allow it to. I have read you can increase the amount your battery is charged using FORSCAN to amend the figures. True? Has anyone done it? What do you need to do it?

I'm not sure as I haven't done it myself but I would imagine it's in central configuration or BCMi.

Change it to 95%

@unofix is your man for this. I may be wrong but I seem to remember that it's no longer possible to change it on the newer models.

I've never tried it on the Focus Mk4.5 but I'd expect it to still be possible. Just search the BCM for battery and see what options are available.

On mk4 its possible

Yes I know, I set mine to 95% SOC a few years ago. The thing is can it still be changed on the Mk4.5 ?
