The deal is done - I picked up this ex-demo Frozen White ST-3 with Winter Pack today:

The car was prepped really nicely - valeted and just had its first service. Although it was registered at the end of September 2023, the VIN says it was built in July 2023, so I enquired with Ford about it's exact build date and it turns out it was built on July 4th 2023 - 3 days before before the last Fiesta rolled off the production line. So perhaps not quite the last ever Fiesta ST, but close.

My Mk7 ST-2 is being collected by its buyer next week, so I'm in the strange position of owning 2 Fiesta ST's right now!

The Mk7 ST-2 has gone, so I'm back to owning just one Fiesta ST again 😥

Curious as to what the Winter Pack is, Tim?

Smart looking motor. 👍

Thanks.

The Winter Pack is heated seats and heated steering wheel.

I'll assume it's got the heated windscreen as well, or is the winter pack to warm you up after scraping the ice off? 😉

Yeah they all have the heated windscreen too.

Could do with your ST2 for spares pending the problem with mine (if it can be established).  Took it to another local car garage on Monday and they can't find anything wrong with it, yet it still seems to not boost properly and pings a service message now and again.

How many pennies did you pay for the ST3 and how many miles on it as an ex-demo?

I paid £22k. It was originally a pre-reg but then used by a salesman to commute in, so it's got 8k miles on it. It had its first service before I collected it as part of the deal because it would have been due within a month. VCheck says that's going rate from a main dealer and there are a couple of others available elsewhere for similar. List price would have been £28k new, so 21% less after 1 year seems about right.

I'll do about 5k miles a year in it and it's on the service plan I transferred from my Mk7.

Commonly known as the 'woose' package 🤣

I was told that about half of the demonstrators had the Winter Pack and half didn't. The ones with the Winter Pack are the ones to get if you can find them.

Very nice, Tim!

I wish I could get and keep mine like that. Unfortunately it's not garaged and I live opposite the fields of an agricultural college with the wind blowing my way. So wash and polish one day, next day it's covered with dust (or at certain times of the year, rather smellier stuff!)😠

Mine's not garaged either unfortunately, but at least it doesn't get dirty on the driveway. The Caterham has pride of place in the garage, with bikes on the other side.
