Fiesta speed sensor fault

Featured Replies

Hi. I've got a 2005 manual mk6 1.25 fiesta with ABS and the eml is on indicating a speed sensor fault but it doesn't have one. The fault has only started since a new starter was fitted and the battery was disconnected.  Any pointers would be appreciated

What is the exact fault code being triggered?

They could've knocked the connector on the gearbox when changing the starter motor, check that

I'm the mechanic and it's on the different side of the gearbox

If the car has ABS then each wheel will have a speed sensor.

Using FORScan it should tell you which wheel sensor has failed.
