2011 fiesta zetec s sound of running water while driving

Featured Replies

Hello all,

i have a daily drive fiesta, i like the car but it has a sound of running water from inside the car somewhere, no sign of water inside the car, i have checked all the usual places for these cars. not loosing coolant, its been back to where i got it and been told its normal, checked goole and it maybe air in heater matrix, anyone else had this issue?

Inside the doors if the drain holes at the bottom have clogged up with debris? Happened regularly to my partners old Fiesta.

Thanks for the reply, I have checked those already, they appear to be fine, so far checked all the usual stuff, hopefully it’s not the head gasket leaking into cooling

I have experienced the sound of 'running water' like a gurgling, twice in my Focus. Both times it was the heater matrix that was on it's way out with a leaking pipe...

hopefully this isn't going to be a major problem. 🤞
