2007 Duratec 1.4l coolant bubbling.

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

came to here for some advice on a problem I’ve got with my mk6 2007 1.4 duratec fiesta. When I tap the throttle the coolant expansion tank bubbles, the higher the rpm, the more it bubbles. Car is not overheating, nor is there any white smoke or milky residue in the oil. It is overdue an oil change and a coolant change however. Just wondering what this could be as I’m hoping it isn’t the dreaded head gasket as Google seems to think it is. Cheers all

Head Gasket 👍

Do you know what the going rate is for the head gasket + labour these days for the job? Only just had the car would rather not get rid of it straight away if fixable
