1l ecoboost engine service light, p2636 and p0191

Featured Replies

my Focus mk2.5 1l ecoboost engine, got service light with codes p2636 and p0191. car drives fine,  without any problems.

After clearing codes, they come back not straight away but after a few runs or more and always only on start-up. Does anyone know what causes these faults?

P2636 fuel pump B low performance.

P0191 Fuel rail pressure sensor performance.

Looks like a problem with the high-pressure fuel pump but could just be a faulty sensor. Hopefully one of the experts will be along soon with better information.

By the way a 2013 car must be a Mk3.
