 I live a City ...

I live in a rural village, so have never got a 'mobile' signal, use to have a fab system where an EE booster box connected to internet gave me a 5 bar bubble round my house, but, it ran on 3G so now discontinued. Hence why WiFi calling is now my saviour, so network now immaterial... Get well soon...

I'm sure Vodafone got rid of their similar system as well.

It was on 3G too, apparently it's all down to 'progress' 🤣

My mother has recently changed from EE PAYG to the cheapest Libera contract. She does complain that the signal reception is far poorer than her EE used to be. I'm sure lack of 3G doesn't help either. Has anyone else had any problems with reception/coverage with Vodaphone/Libera? A suppose the only good thing is it's a rolling month to month contract not a 12/24 month contract, so can change at anytime.

yes great service great price well recommend

had a similar issue when i was on lebara, massive difference on ID Mobile, 6 quid a month

Vodafone is poor in my area too.  O2 is more reliable here.

Have you checked your Mums area in the online coverage charts?  They're not perfect, but do give a rough idea.

Never tried Libera, but here in the North East, Vodaphone signal strength is poor.

I moved from Vodafone to Libera about 5 months ago and have found that the reception is the same as it was from Vodafone, I live in a big city though.

Lebara (a virtual network) uses the Vodafone network for it's calls/texts/4g, so would be surprised if there's a difference between the two...

The point I was trying to make is that if you have a good signal with Vodafone where you live then you should have a good one with Libera.

Jim H's mum moved from EE to Libera which uses the Vodafone network and found that the signal was not as good, that doesn't mean that Libera is a worse network, virtual or not, for everyone.

His mum would probably be better off looking for a cheaper virtual network that works of the EE network.
