I'm losing my mind over issues with my factory headlamps, specifically passing an NCT with the lights not focused correctly. I've just failed my 3rd NCT in a month due to the levelling/focus of the dipped beams. I've watched the garage tune the beams, go to the NCT, and it fails. The garage can't see any issue, but I know the flimsy plastic arm doesn't hold the bulb in tightly. Are there aftermarket headlamp clusters that are better designed than the factory ones? I just want to pass the NCT and have the dipped beams stay where they are supposed to. Bad original design on the headlamp retaining assembly in my opinion.
