Engine swap

Featured Replies

Has anyone changed the eco boost engine for an old zetec/2.5/k20 engine in a mk7.5?

been looking at starting a project and aiming for 400hp in a fiesta mk7.5 I know this is easily done with turbo k20 or a tuned turbo black top zetec, maybe a 2.5 st3 engine but they are expensive compared to the other two, has anyone done this on here?

Good luck with getting the PCM and BCM to work with the swapped engine. Things are a lot more complex than in the days of dropping a 2.0 Cortina engine in to a 1.6 Capri.

Yeah, things like aftermarket standalone ecus usually solve this, they are generally needed when turboing a none turbo car, looking for big power, technology has changed a lot since the 80’s.
