Are these Osram cool blue intense H15 bulbs any good?

Featured Replies

I have a fiesta 1.25 zetec 2013, I have Phillips white dipped H7 bulbs.                                                          But want bright white main beam/drl bulbs which are road legal I know they have a blue tint which I like but I was just wondering if anyone knows if these are any good.

Thanks

If you have projectors stick some LED H7s in, they will beam properly in the projectors.

Just make sure you buy fan-less, they won't last as long but they'll fit, and 360 degree output

I had some Osram blue bulbs that literally said 'not for road use' on the bulb itself.  Can't remember if they were this exact model or not though.  I swapped them out for MOT just in case.  They were noticeably blue rather than white/yellow.

Was they these and do they look good in?

No, they definitely weren't LED's.  I have a particular hatred of non-factory LED's lol.

They were probably Diamond Vision bulbs which are not officially road legal. I have noticed you can buy Cool Blue Boost bulbs which are bluer (higher kelvin) and higher power (80W not 55W for H7s). Again these are not road legal.

What the OP is asking about are standard Cool blue bulbs, which are perfectly road legal. These: https://www.powerbulbs.com/store/category/halogen-bulbs/fitting/h15-715
