After nearly 6 months of messing around with my late mothers Focus and reading this forum back to front on what the problem could be getting it started again, it might sound a bit corny to say I know, but i don’t particularly care about that. My mother passed away last year and the only thing I have belonging to her was her Focus, the car she bought that was hers with the little she saved after retirement, she took ill at the start of last year and could no longer drive, it lay in her drive for a few months. Anyway, she passed and as we were getting things sorted nobody wanted the car, I did. It still has the scent of her perfume in it only issue was i couldn’t get it started and a few mechanics suggested this that and the other which I got done still no joy then, I read through a few other suggestions from people on here who had similar issues and the suggestions they were getting to put it right, so earlier on I looked through page after page and it came down to the last one a 3 amp Transmission fuse, I thought I had checked them. Turns out I hadn’t checked thoroughly enough so I did today and boom got it started the joy in my heart to hear that engine made me well up it. It has a few other Focus type issues that come with these cars, but I just want to say thank you for this site to the contributors the mods, all who put in the littlest of suggestions. They really help and it’s made me a really happy person tonight, so again.
