P2002 DPF Code help

Featured Replies

Hi.
I have purchased a 2021  1.5 TDCI. 10000. Miles.  Mk4
I have had a p2002 code come up and amber light.  I have cleared the code on my low cost obd scanner but it comes back after a short while.

I spoke to a dpf company who suggested it may be that the car is trying to do a regen but it can’t for reasons such as bad thermostat, bad pressure sensor or low fuel (less than 1/4 tank).
I do regular motorway miles.

can anyone help suggest some solutions?
if there a way I should be driving to force it to regen or a way to make it force a dpf regen?

is the p2002 code a common fault?

many thanks.
