Hardwired Dashcam in Ford Fiesta 2017 MK8 fuse usage?

Featured Replies

Hi, i have a Ford Fiesta 2017 and I have tried hardwiring a front and rear camera to the fuse box but its stuck in always on mode I have it currently plugged into fuse 4 for switched power and fuse 20 for constant I have also tried a few combinations of fuses but had similar results.

Does anyone know any known good fuses to tap into or an alternative way of powering it that would work? i need the collision detection and time-lapse features

My dashcam is -

Wolfbox G840H and using the wolfbox 20ft type C hardwire kit

Thanks

Thanks, how can i find that out? do I just use a multimeter and see what one turns live when the ignition turns on? I'm pretty sure the fuse 4 I'm using at the minute only comes on when ignition is switched I checked that with a meter before I connected it
