Hi every one need help pls if possible 

 

was hoping somebody may know a way to get power into a transit custom 22plate van it’s been sat up for couples weeks locked and know think battery has died. I have the key so if can get power into it can use remote to open it and access the battery to jump start it. I could have used key to manually enter problem is someone has tryed getting in and busted the lock at some point and it just spins 

any thoughts cheers everyone

    If you can get underneath put a jump lead on starter or alternator terminal and just earth the other one.  That should power up the electrics to enable the remote unlock.

    Is the vehicle fitted with a towbar ?

    If so then it is usually possible to feed a temporary 12V supply to the vehicle to allow it to be unlocked.

    Ar guys thanks very much for help yes was thinking to hook up to starter but wasn’t sure if this would work I have a little 12v jumper pack so will try this tomorrow and damb me for not putting one on, no I don’t have trailer hitch but thank you will let yas know tomorrow 👍🏽
