Problem with bidet (rear wash/wipe)

Hi, new here. I have a problem with my rear wash/wipe.

 

when activated, the wiper arm moves about 30 degrees then stops until I give it a gentle push. Then it completes the sweep back to the park position.

 

Is this a common problem? If so is it a problem with the motor or mechanism?

    Not a common problem but on a 16 year old car the motor could well be bu99ered.

    Just use a pack of these to keep your rear clean......
