I'm buying a 2017 ecoboost 1.0 Ford fiesta, but I see there are concerns about wet cam belt. Should I buy or avoid? Ta!

Nothing much to add, other than do not buy a Ford vehicle with the Ecoboom 1.0 engine.

There are literally dozens of threads on here on ecoboost issues/questions, recent one here covers most points:

Notwithstanding the recent improved support policy mentioned in that thread, a 2017 will require a change of the wet cambelt (this is a normal service action) at 10 years maximum (many would recommend doing it at 8 years 😎 cost from £950 at an independent, up to £1800 plus at Ford dealers, so you need to bear that in mind.

Check carefully that the service record of a prospective purchase is complete, (annual oil changes are a must) - if not, walk away.  There are plenty of other used supermini choices available that do not use a wet belt (but avoid the Peugeot/Citroen Puretech engines which do!).

Lots of advice available here on other brands if you want to look at other options.
