Where is the APIM and GPS module?

Featured Replies

I have a right hand drive MK4 Focus.  Information on the net seems confused.

Could anyone tell me where exactly is the APIM unit, and how to best to view it and check connections.

Also, where is the GPS module if there is one? Does the antenna cable go straight to APIM or via some sort of GPS module?

Having some eCall/Navigation malfunction issues that I've posted about more fully in the dedicated electronics forum. Thinking it might be a corrupted memory/software issue but need to check connections.

Thanks

The apim is behind the audio control module d which is behind the heater control panel.

The GPS antenna cable goes to the apim.
